"The Book of Romans"
Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
Led by David Myers

Paul clearly sets forth the foundation of the Christian faith. All people are sinful; Christ died to forgive sin; we are made right with God through faith; this begins a new life with a new relationship with God. Like a sports team that constantly reviews the basic, we will be greatly helped in our faith by keeping close to these foundations. If we study Romans carefully, we will never be at a loss to know what to believe.
"Me, Myself & Lies"
Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. beginning August 18
Led by Norma Koetz

Ever wonder what you should say when you talk to yourself? We all talk to ourselves all the time. We evaluate everything we do, compare ourselves to others, and even call ourselves names. We disparage who we are instead of telling ourselves the truth about who God says we are. This course deals with our destructive, unrealistic, self-talk. We will explore the power of self-talk. We'll go through the thing we commonly say to ourselves and learn to practice Godly and biblical soul-talk.
