OUR SENIOR PASTOR AND HIS WIFE
David M. Daus began serving as our Senior Pastor October 14, 2007. A native Hoosier, Bro. David holds a Bachelor of Arts from Hanover College in Indiana, and a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisiana. He and his wife, Kelly, have been married for seven years and have two boys, William and Peyton. Bro. David has pastored in Alabama, and most recently served as an Active Duty Chaplain with the Unites States Air Force. He continues to serve as a Reserve Chaplain at Moody AFB, Valdosta, Ga.
Bro. David's passion is preaching and he is thrilled to be sharing God's Word with the Gum Branch Community. A word from Bro. David: "It's often been said 'there's something special about Gum Branch' . . .'that when you come to this church, folks make you feel like a member of the family' My family and I have certainly found this to be true for us. OUR ASSOCIATE PASTOR OF MUSIC AND YOUTH
Rev. Clint Brogdon
Clinton (Clint) L. Brogdon has served as the Associate Pastor of Music and Youth since April 1, 2001. Clint is a 1998 graduate of The Baptist College of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Church Music, with an emphasis in voice and piano. Clint has served churches in Florida and Georgia.
Clint believes music sets the stage for an encounter with God and utilizes various music styles to lead the congregation into worship. Clint has a desire for others to experience God's love and grace. He prays the Music Ministry will help draw others to salvation.
